❓ Unable to enable Redis Service Users on CloudLinux – “You must configure LiteSpeed for LiteSpeed Containers

#1
Hello LiteSpeed team,

I'm running **CloudLinux 8** with **LiteSpeed Enterprise (latest version)**.

I tried to enable the **Redis Service Users** feature, but I get this error message:

> "You must configure LiteSpeed for LiteSpeed Containers"

CageFS is fully enabled, and **alt-redis** is installed and working.
Redis also works fine when started manually (as a global service).

However, the Redis Service Users feature refuses to activate.

I would like to ask:

1. Is it actually possible to use **Redis Service Users** on a CloudLinux server with CageFS?
2. If yes, what exact steps or configuration are required to make LiteSpeed recognize "LiteSpeed Containers mode"?

Thanks in advance for clarifying this.
This setup is for a CloudLinux + LiteSpeed (cPanel) server.

Hello,

I'm having the same problem on multiple servers with the following versions:

---
cPanel 130.0.15 servers with CloudLinux 8 and 9.

Litespeed WHM plugin: v5.2.6.2
lsws version: 6.3.4 (build 6)
---

When we press the "Enable Redis Service" key o cPanel, we get a success message ("Enabled Redis Successful") but the service isn't enabled.
In these servers, we can see the following warning message (on cPanel error_log file) when we try to enable redis:

warn [cpanel] Could not find “redisEnable” in module “lsws”.

There is any known issue for this situation?

This is a different issue from the one initially reported by arman.motevalian.
Still please open a support ticket at the URL in my last reply, submit server access and we will check what may be happening.
