Hi,
I'm evaluating LiteSpeed under cPanel/WHM. So far, so good, but I have a few questions.
First, does LiteSpeed automatically find and use my mod_security rules, as long as Apache was able to use them successfully?
Second, I heard something about LiteSpeed skipping some mod_security rules (something to do with pattern match) to avoid performance issues. Is this true? How can I ensure that LiteSpeed is using my full mod_security protection?
Third, what are the best accelerators recommended for LiteSpeed in a cPanel environment...and how do I activate them? I have heard that memcached and eAccelerator are good. However, I did not have caching enabled in Apache because I was using suphp. So how would I make LiteSpeed work with the acceleration? Do I need to recompile Apache in EasyApache, then make a new matching PHP build for LiteSpeed? Or are there other procedures?
Thanks in advance!
Mark
