Global Domain Permissions

Hello,

I have recently installed a piece of software on my cPanel LiteSpeed server however upon installing it has been flagging up permission errors, I have been in contact with the developers who told me the following:

You need to set write permissions globally for all your domains in Apache configuration file.
There is option to set common permissions for a file in Apache which will set write permissions for all the domains you have hosted in your shared server.

They only tell me how the fix works for Apache not LiteSpeed, Can this fix be replicated for LiteSpeed?

So if I was to make the changes like they say within the Apache Config, It will work?

you can test under apache first if possible.
if it works with apache, should work with litespeed too.

How would I go about doing this fix in LiteSpeed once I get it to work within Apache?

just switch to litespeed in cPanel: one button click.

So this is what I will do:

Switch From LiteSpeed To Apache > Apply Changes To Apache Config > Switch Back To LiteSpeed From Apache.

Will that work and fix the issue in LiteSpeed?
