Issue Summary: Following the latest update of the LiteSpeed Cache plugin, we encountered significant issues affecting two of our websites. The specific problems included:
  1. Page Breakage: Several pages across both websites became broken and were not displaying content correctly.
  2. Mobile Responsiveness: The hamburger menu button, crucial for mobile navigation, became unclickable on both websites.
Details:

  • Issue Onset: The problems began immediately after the most recent update to the LiteSpeed Cache plugin.
  • Error Observed: On both desktop and mobile versions of the sites, users were unable to interact with or view content as intended.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
  1. Initial Investigation: We observed the issues post-update and confirmed their occurrence on multiple devices and browsers.
  2. Plugin Deactivation: We deactivated the LiteSpeed Cache plugin to test if it was the source of the problem. Upon deactivation, the issues were resolved, indicating that the plugin update was indeed the culprit.
Current Status:
  • Resolution: The immediate fix was to deactivate the LiteSpeed Cache plugin, which restored normal functionality to the websites. However, this is a temporary solution.
