===== Is LiteSpeed Web Server Free? =====

There are two editions of LiteSpeed Web Server: Enterprise Edition and OpenLiteSpeed. 

OpenLiteSpeed is open source. It is free to use, modify, and distribute through GPLv3 licensing. You can find download links and more information about OpenLiteSpeed at [[https://openlitespeed.org|openlitespeed.org]]. 

The Enterprise Edition is proprietary software and requires a license. Licenses (including the Free Starter license) can be purchased or leased in the [[http://store.litespeedtech.com/store/cart.php|Online Store]]. There you can find many different licenses to fit different server requirements.
