Beginner question

#1
I'm trying to understand when I should manually purge pages, and have some questions:
1. Will the cache be purged for a published Wordpress post or page anytime I update the post/page? Or must I manually purge the post?
2. When publishing a new post, the front page and blog pages both automatically link to the post. Will the cache of the front page and blog pages automatically get reset as soon as a new post is published?

Just wondering if posting a new or updating an old post/page automatically triggers an immediate cache reset? Thanks!

LSCache for WordPress will purge on update and new Posts/Pages for corresponding pages. You will not need to manually purge the cache.

As an addition to what Jon said, you can select what pages you want purged when a post is updated via the WP admin under LiteSpeed Cache -> Settings -> Purge Rules.
