Some users get Bad Gateway: Connection to server ...

I like OpenLitespeed and am happy my server upgraded to it. Most users of my xenforo community dont get any errors, however some receive this error:

Bad Gateway: Connection to server failed. Connecting to the requested server (URL "http://domain.com") failed: Bad HTTP header.)

Do you know what is causing this? Thanks.

I believe these users use some kind of proxy("gateway"; most likely something for content filtering, security or caching) that rewrites HTTP requests in a way that LiteSpeed thinks these requests are invalid.
