[Resolved] SSL Renegotiation Protection and cPanel

Hello, When LiteSpeed is enabled, Comodo's SSL Analyzer will report the following: Secure Renegotiation (Client-initiated) Supported VULNERABLE (DoS) Legacy Renegotiation (Client-initiated) Unknown These two warnings disappear when switching to Apache. IIRC, these options are controlled by...

[Resolved] WARN file size is over 100K, could be a bad .htaccess

Hi Mistwang, Thanks a lot! You guys are awesome :-) And absolutely, a large .htaccess file is always a bad, bad idea! But this will help keep the error log a little bit smaller while I deal with the customer who's htaccess file is too large!

[Resolved] WARN file size is over 100K, could be a bad .htaccess

Hi NiteWave, There's no .htaccess file that is 250k. I was just curious if I can up the warn trigger so it warns when a file is larger than 250k, that's all. In other words, I want to suppress the warning for .htaccess files smaller than 250K instead of having it warn for 100K.

[Resolved] WARN file size is over 100K, could be a bad .htaccess

Hi NiteWave, There are no repeated lines, and yes... The file is rather large for an .htaccess file (iThemes Security rules for WordPress). I'd like to know where I can change the limit warn to trigger at a larger size, like maybe 250K?

Litespeed on VPS CloudLinux OS with cPanel or Interworx and Installatron ?

When you combine CloudLinux with LiteSpeed, you actually get excellent results. Installatron, from my our personal experience, is the best application autoinstaller in the market. I'll have to advise you to go with cPanel v/s Interworx. Nothing wrong with Interworx, it's just my preference.

[Resolved] WARN file size is over 100K, could be a bad .htaccess

I'm seeing a lot of warning about the size of an .htaccess file: [/<path>/.htaccess] file size is over 100K, could be a bad .htaccess I couldn't find out what triggers this warning. This is LSWS Latest on CloudLinux 6.5 w/ cPanel. Thoughts?

Which LSWS version is supposed to be latest 4.2.1 or 4.2.2?

I ran this command: /usr/local/lsws/admin/misc/lsup.sh -v 4.2.2 to upgrade to LSWS 4.2.2 which was released on Jan 30. The result was rather interesting, if I may say: So, which LSWS version am I supposed to be using? Please advise.

[Solved] Installing an SSL Certificate in WHM with LSWS

Hello, When I try to install an SSL Certificate via WHM on a Litespeed powered server, the server automatically switched to from Litespeed to Apache. Is there a special set of instructions to avoid that? Especially when resellers can install SSL Certificates for their clients? Please advise

I don't think this is true. I have LSWS 4.2.1 and .htaccess in sub directories work just fine.
