    CloudLinux NodeJS Selector

The reason I asked this was because when LiteSpeed released Python/Ruby support they said it was Nodejs ready. LiteSpeed, do you have an ETA on this ?

    CloudLinux NodeJS Selector

Hello, Can you test and see if NodeJS Selector is compatible with LiteSpeed and if it is, what is required to make LiteSpeed work with it ? Thanks !

Hello, I've noticed that for a long time there has been alot of confusion about litespeed's pricing and I honestly think you are loosing customers because of it. Peoples first reaction is to look at the number of CPU's and compare it to how many their server has. I did exactly this when I...

What's missing for cPanel to officially support litespeed

Hello, for anyone interested we have just created a feature request for easyapache to build lsphp without building Apache's PHP. It's currently awaiting moderation but the URL will be : http://features.cpanel.net/responses/add-litespeed-lsphp-php-option-inside-easyapache When it is accepted...

    eAccelerator and LSPHP ?

With xCache I had problems with large shared memory usage and php crashing and APC is not secure on shared hosting because of its object cache being accessible to all users on the server. I want to allow multiple GB of cache because this server will have between 600 and 800 sites on it and...

    Best opcache + datacache?

I don't know about the compatibility but due to the way Litespeed works in deamon mode it's only safe to use APC user object cache if you trust all of your users as if deamon mode is activated all accounts would be able to access and edit each others objects.

Two php crashes since our last update of litespeed and php

Good question, so far since xCache has been disabled I haven't had any problems. I am however thinking about a new strategy that doesn't envolve xCache. I want to try eaccelerator with PHP5.3 and keep PHP5.3 while it still gets security updates and then update directly to PHP 5.5 with Zend...

Two php crashes since our last update of litespeed and php

I've just been told that current LS 4.2.4 should be more stable with PHP suexec than 4.2.3. I've updated litespeed to 4.2.4 but am waiting at least a couple of weeks before trying to activate a oopcode cache (xCache or eaccelerator) again.

Two php crashes since our last update of litespeed and php

I'm going to give our server a month without oopcode caching to see if it's Xcache the issue. Are there any known issues with eAccelerator and Litespeed in suexec mode ? I'm now thinking about giving eAccelerator a try as there is now a version on GitHub that is compatible with PHP 5.4 and as...

Two php crashes since our last update of litespeed and php

Hello, I think I'm going to finish testing without Xcache to make sure that it's not xcache related. This should give your developement team some time to make ls 4.2.4 more stable. I'm always a bit worried when I'm told to install a non stable package and am told it's not the final package.

Two php crashes since our last update of litespeed and php

I've already tried that, and got crashes too. That setting isn't anything to do with run away processes but to do with the processes being killed if the client isn't there anymore. You have my core dumps and my log extracts, and I never got an answer from your developpers about them. What did...

Two php crashes since our last update of litespeed and php

Interesting, so I'm not alone :) I disabled Cloudlinux's per account memory limits and I've just had another crash. I'm getting desperate to find out what is causing this. I've just disabled xcache to see if I get another crash. However disabling oopcode cache is not a long term...

Two php crashes since our last update of litespeed and php

So I presume that your virtual memory usage is 300MB, I've got 500MB for xcache but at 1300MB that still leaves me with 500MB more virtual memory usage that you. I wonder if I've got a memory leak or just more processes

Two php crashes since our last update of litespeed and php

PHP processes are run with each account's user id. CloudLinux limits per virtual memory so if a process has more than 2GB virtual memory (as all litepspeed processes seem to share the same virtual memory) I guess that they could be hitting CloudLinux's per user memory limit.

Two php crashes since our last update of litespeed and php

I might have worked something out, are CloudLinux virtual memory limits compatible with Litespeed LSAPI + deamon mode ? I had limits of 2GB per account and before PHP crashed I think PHP's processes were using up 2GB (currently using 1.3GB of virtual and 30m of residual memory). My guess is...

Two php crashes since our last update of litespeed and php

Last test : I think I've found the culprit, a single non acsii character… still a huge bug if you can't post uft8 characters… Here's the message : Just crashed again with 600MB. I've reducted it to 500M to see but am thinking about giving eaccelerator a try. This is a pain, I wanted to allow...
