DocumentRoot does not normally define where .htaccess works and does not work, at least with Apache. Even with Litespeed it uses the .htaccess in /home/user, however it only updates it upon a restart instead of live. Is this intended or a bug?

Litespeed seems to ignore changes made to .htaccess in /home/user/.htaccess until a restart of the web server is performed. Is there a way to fix this? Changes to /home/user/public_html/.htacces work fine and as expected.

Hello, That is not what is happening... if I block my own IP via .htaccess I ONLY receive a 403 error if I request an existing file. If I request a file that does not exist I receive a 404 error.

I have a server with 8,000 cPanel accounts. I attempted to start LSWS and the process sits at 100% for a while then disappears. Was wondering if there was a limit of vhosts that people have hit or maybe I have it setup incorrectly.
