LiteSpeed Makes PrestaShop 1000X Faster!

With LiteSpeed under the hood, PrestaShop loaded over 600 times faster than Apache, and 1500 times faster than nginx in our tests!

Most of the time, a PrestaShop full page cache plugin will cost you somewhere around $120 to $180 USD, but LiteSpeed's cache extension is FREE to PrestaShop owners on LiteSpeed-powered hosting. To demonstrate what page caching gets you, we put our LSCache extension to the test on a PrestaShop demo site, against uncached Apache and nginx.

Note: Smarty Cache was enabled for nginx and Apache. Smarty Cache, and the related Performance functions which are included with PrestaShop, are not full page caches. That is why, when you are using LSCache, there is no need to disable any of them. They will not conflict with each other.

We followed the http2benchmark.org methodology, which means our results are easy to verify. We welcome you to try other full page cache plugins to compare with LiteSpeed Cache.

Please note: we usually run the h2load test with -c 100, but in this case there were too many errors occurring with nginx and Apache. We reduced -c to 10 for this reason.

LiteSpeed Web Server performs 1521X faster than Nginx and 662X faster than Apache when loading PrestaShop.
